Ecclesiastes 1 Literal Rendering
Tanach - Ecclesiastes Chapter 1
1. Words of Assembler [fem.] son of David, king in Jerusalem:
2. “Breath of breaths,” said Assembler, “breath of breaths! The all is a breath!
3. What excess is to Adam in all his labour that he will labour under the sun?
4. A generation walked, and a generation came. And the land stands to Hider.
5. And the sun will rise. And the sun will come. And he is panting unto his place. He is rising there.
6. He walks unto south, and he compasses unto north. He compasses. He compasses. The wind/spirit walks. And the wind/spirit returned upon his compassings.
7. All the rivers walk unto the sea. And the sea--he is not full. They are returning there to walk unto a place that the rivers are walking.
8. All the speeches are wearinesses. A man will not be able to speak. An eye will not be satisfied to see, and an ear will not be filled from hearkening.
9. What that was, he is what shall be. And what that was done, he is what shall be done. And there is not any new under the sun.
10. There is a speech that he will say: ‘See-thou this! He is new!’ He was abundant to Hiders that he was from-to our faces.
11. There is no remembrance to firsts, and also to afters that shall be. A remembrance of a people will not be to them who shall be to her afterward.
12. I am an assembler. I was king over Israel in Jerusalem.
13. And I will give my heart to research and tour via Wisdom concerning all that are done under the heavens. He is a bad business [same as answer] God gave to sons of the Adam to answer [same as business] via him.
14. I saw all the doings that were done under the sun. And behold, the all is a breath and badnesses of spirit.
15. He will not be able to arrange bent-[ones]. And he will not be able to apportion a deficiency.
16. I, I spoke with my heart to say, “I—behold, I biggened! And I will make-gather Wisdom concerning all that was to my faces concerning Jerusalem. And my heart saw much: Wisdom and Knowledge.
17. And I gave Her my heart to know Wisdom and Knowledge, boastings and prudences. I knew that also this is he: badness of spirit.
18. For via multiplicity of Wisdom is multiplicity of anger. And a gatherer of knowledge is a gatherer pain.

Ecclesiastes 2 Literal Rendering
1. I, I said via my heart, “Walk her, na. I will test thee via happiness. And see via good.” And behold, also he is a breath.
2. I said to laughter, “Boaster!” and to happiness, “What is this doing?”
3. I toured via my heart to draw my flesh via wine. And my heart led via Wisdom and to grasp via follies until I will see: “Where is this good to the sons of the Adam that they will do under the sun a scrolling of days of their lives?”
4. I made-big my works. I built houses to me. I planted vineyards to me.
5. I made gardens and paradises to me. I planted a tree of every fruit in them.
6. I made ponds of waters to me to water a forest sprouting trees.
7. I acquired [male] slaves and [female] slaves. And sons of the house were to me. Also acquisition of many herd and flock was to me from all that were to my faces in Jerusalem.
8. I also assembled silver and gold and a segregation of kings and the provinces to me. I made to me [male] singers and [female] singers and delights of sons of the Adam, field and fields.
9. And I will make-big! And I will make-gather from all that was to my faces in Jerusalem. I even wizened. She stood to me.
10. And all that my eyes asked I did not withdraw from them. I did not restrain my heart from all happiness. For my heart was happy from all my labour-pain. And this was my portion from all my labour-pain.
11. And I, I will turn via all my doings that my hands did and via labour-pain that I labour-pained to do. And behold, the all is breath and badnesses of spirit. And there is no excess under the sun.
12. And I, I will turn to see Wisdom and boastings and foolishnesses. For what is the Adam that he will come after the King with that which they already did?
13. And I, I will see that there is excess to Wisdom from the foolishnesses as excess of the light from the darkness.
14. The wisdom of his eyes is in his head, and the fool walks in darkness! And I—also I will know that one encounter will encounter all of them!
15. And I, I will say in my heart, as an encounter of the fool, also I am! He will encounter me! And why was I wise—I? Then he will be excess. And I will speak via my heart that also this is a breath.
16. For there is no remembrance with the fool to a wise-[one] to Hider. In that the days are already the coming, the all is forgotten. And how will the wise-[one] die with the fool?
17. And I will hate the lives! For the doing that we will do under the sun is bad upon me! For the all is a breath and badnesses of spirit!
18. And I, I will hate all my labour-pain that I am labour-paining under the sun, that I will rest him to Adam that will be after me.
19. And who knows? Will a wise-[one] be, or folly? And he domineered via all my labour-pain that I labour-pained and that I wizened under the sun. This is also a breath.
20. And I, I will circumnavigate to despair my heart concerning all the labour-pain that I labour-pained under the sun.
21. For there is an Adam that his labour-pain is via Wisdom and via Knowledge and via kosherness. And he will give him—his portion—to an Adam that no labour-pain is via him! This is also a breath and multiplied bad!
22. For what is to an Adam via all his labour-pain and via baddening of his heart that he is labour-paining under the sun?
23. For all his days are pains. And anger is his business/answer. His heart also did not lie-down in the night. This is also he: a breath!
24. There is no good via Adam that he will eat and he will drink and he will show his being good via his labour-pain. I, I also saw this, that she is from the hand of the Elohim!
25. For who will eat and who will hurry outside from [more than] me?
26. For He gave Wisdom and Knowledge and happiness to an Adam that is good to His faces. And He gave business to a sinner to gather and to assemble to give to the good-[one] to the faces of the Elohim. This is also a breath and badnesses of spirit!
