Will
the power of the Antichrist arise through a secret conspiracy?
Not if the Bible is correct. The Scriptures
teach the following:
Daniel 11:21 x And in his estate shall stand up a
vile person, to whom they shall not give the honour
of the kingdom: but he shall come in peaceably, and
obtain the kingdom by flatteries. 22 And with the
arms of a flood shall they be overflown from before
him, and shall be broken; yea, also the prince of
the covenant. 23 And after the league [made] with
him he shall work deceitfully: for he shall come up,
and shall become strong with a small people. 24 He
shall enter peaceably even upon the fattest places
of the province; and he shall do [that] which his
fathers have not done, nor his fathers’ fathers; he
shall scatter among them the prey, and spoil, and
riches: [yea], and he shall forecast his devices against
the strong holds, even for a time. 25 And he shall
stir up his power and his courage against the king
of the south with a great army; and the king of the
south shall be stirred up to battle with a very great
and mighty army; but he shall not stand: for they
shall forecast devices against him. 26 Yea, they that
feed of the portion of his meat shall destroy him,
and his army shall overflow: and many shall fall down
slain. 27 And both these kings’ hearts [shall be]
to do mischief, and they shall speak lies at one table;
but it shall not prosper: for yet the end [shall be]
at the time appointed. 28 Then shall he return into
his land with great riches; and his heart [shall be]
against the holy covenant; and he shall do [exploits],
and return to his own land. 29 At the time appointed
he shall return, and come toward the south; but it
shall not be as the former, or as the latter. 30 For
the ships of Chittim shall come against him: therefore
he shall be grieved, and return, and have indignation
against the holy covenant: so shall he do; he shall
even return, and have intelligence with them that
forsake the holy covenant. 31 And arms shall stand
on his part, and they shall pollute the sanctuary
of strength, and shall take away the daily [sacrifice],
and they shall place the abomination that maketh desolate.
32 And such as do wickedly against the covenant shall
he corrupt by flatteries: but the people that do know
their God shall be strong, and do [exploits]. 33 And
they that understand among the people shall instruct
many: yet they shall fall by the sword, and by flame,
by captivity, and by spoil, [many] days. 34 Now when
they shall fall, they shall be holpen with a little
help: but many shall cleave to them with flatteries.
35 And [some] of them of understanding shall fall,
to try them, and to purge, and to make [them] white,
[even] to the time of the end: because [it is] yet
for a time appointed. 36 And the king shall do according
to his will; and he shall exalt himself, and magnify
himself above every god, and shall speak marvellous
things against the God of gods, and shall prosper
till the indignation be accomplished: for that that
is determined shall be done. 37 Neither shall he regard
the God of his fathers, nor the desire of women, nor
regard any god: for he shall magnify himself above
all. 38 But in his estate shall he honour the God
of forces: and a god whom his fathers knew not shall
he honour with gold, and silver, and with precious
stones, and pleasant things. 39 Thus shall he do in
the most strong holds with a strange god, whom he
shall acknowledge [and] increase with glory: and he
shall cause them to rule over many, and shall divide
the land for gain. 40 And at the time of the end shall
the king of the south push at him: and the king of
the north shall come against him like a whirlwind,
with chariots, and with horsemen, and with many ships;
and he shall enter into the countries, and shall overflow
and pass over. 41 He shall enter also into the glorious
land, and many [countries] shall be overthrown: but
these shall escape out of his hand, [even] Edom, and
Moab, and the chief of the children of Ammon. 42 He
shall stretch forth his hand also upon the countries:
and the land of Egypt shall not escape. 43 But he
shall have power over the treasures of gold and of
silver, and over all the precious things of Egypt:
and the Libyans and the Ethiopians [shall be] at his
steps. 44 But tidings out of the east and out of the
north shall trouble him: therefore he shall go forth
with great fury to destroy, and utterly to make away
many. 45 And he shall plant the tabernacles of his
palace between the seas in the glorious holy mountain;
yet he shall come to his end, and none shall help
him. 1 x And at that time shall Michael stand up,
the great prince which standeth for the children of
thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble,
such as never was since there was a nation [even]
to that same time: and at that time thy people shall
be delivered, every one that shall be found written
in the book.
Now, this text may not be clear to many
readers. But it does describe the coming to power by
the antichrist. And it is not by any conspiracy theory.
It is rather by the way that an ordinary leader takes
over when the previous leader dies or leaves office.
And if one follows the descriptions well, one will know
beforehand who the antichrist is, for he will fit the
pattern perfectly in history. Now, some claim that this
already took place. However, if one reads the end of
the text, it describes things that have never taken
place and cannot take place until the Tribulation period.
Will the persecution of the Saints be at the hands
of false-saints who claim Christianity and are part
of this conspiracy?
No. There is no indication of Christianity at all at
the time of the antichrist (whether the Christianity
be of the true variety or the false variety). There
are Saints, certainly. But the Church is never mentioned
in the context of the singular end-times antichrist.
There have always been antichrists (as 1 John explains).
But the one character who is the antichrist (known as
the Assyrian in the Old Testament) comes to power after
the Church is no longer mentioned. And the term “Christian”
applies to the Church age. It will no longer be used
after the Church is removed. The Saints will be of a
different breed, and not desirous to associate with
false Christendom of the false Church.
According to the Biblical record,
Daniel 7:19 Then I desired to know the certainty concerning
the fourth beast which was different from them all-exceeding
dreadful whose teeth were of iron and its nails of
copper-which devoured, broke in pieces and stamped
the rest with its feet; 20and concerning the ten horns
that were in its head and the other that came up and
before which three fell: even that horn that had eyes
and a mouth speaking great things and whose look was
more imposing than its fellows. 21I beheld. And that
horn made war with the Saints and prevailed over them
22until the Ancient of days came. And judgment was
given to the Saints of the Most High. And the appointed
time arrived and the saints possessed the kingdom.
23He said thus: “The fourth beast shall be a fourth
kingdom upon the earth which shall be different from
all the kingdoms, and shall devour the whole earth
and shall tread it down and break it in pieces. 24And
as to the ten horns, out of this kingdom shall arise
ten kings. And another shall arise after them. And
he shall be different from the former. And he shall
subdue three kings. 25And he shall speak words against
the Most High and shall wear out the Saints of the
Most High and think to change seasons and the Torah.
And they shall be given into his hand until a time
and times and a half time. 26And the judgment shall
sit and they shall take away his dominion to consume
and to destroy it unto the end.
Verse 25 teaches that the Saints of
the Most High will be given into his [the antichrist’s]
hand. This teaches me that the persecution of the Saints
be at the hands of the antichrist and his forces by
Yehovah’s turning them over to him until certain things
are accomplished. If there is a conspiracy, it is Yehovah’s
conspiracy. He certainly could have made it so that
this would not occur. But He chose rather to glorify
these Saints and to make them worthy as it is written,
2 Thessalonians 1:4 xWe ourselves do glory in you
in the assemblies of God for your endurance and faith
in all your persecutions and tribulations that ye
bear, 5a token of the righteous judgment of God to
your being counted worthy of the reign of God for
which also ye suffer 6(since [it] is a righteous thing
with God to give back trouble to those troubling you,
7and relief with us to you who are troubled during
the Revelation of the Lord Jesus from heaven with
messengers of his power 8in flaming fire taking vengeance
on those not knowing God and on those not obeying
the Good News of our Lord Jesus Christ 9who shall
pay the penalty: everlasting destruction from the
presence of the Lord and from the glory of his might
10when He shall come to be glorified in His Saints
and to be wondered at in all those believing in that
day) because our testimony was believed among you.
If there is a conspiracy, I say again,
it is a conspiracy from the Top: from Yehovah Himself.
Will Jews rule with the antichrist through some
secret conspiracy of wealth or media or weapons?
There is no Biblical text which indicates anything even
close to this. The antichrist will not need the wealth
of the Jews. For he will take the wealth from all races
as it is written:
Isaiah 10:13 For he [the Assyrian] saith, “By the
strength of my hand I have done and by my wisdom.
For I am intelligent. And I have removed the bounds
of the peoples and have robbed their treasures. And,
like a valiant man, I have brought down them that
sit [on thrones] 14And my hand hath found as a nest
the riches of the peoples. And as one gathereth forsaken
eggs, I have gathered ALL the earth. And there was
none that moved the wing or opened the mouth or chirped.”
15Shall the axe boast itself against him that heweth
therewith? Shall the saw magnify itself against him
that wieldeth it? As if the rod should wield them
that lift it up! As if the staff should lift up not
wood!
In this text, the one speaking has gathered
ALL THE EARTH. This can only be the antichrist, for
he alone will be able to do such. There is no need of
Jewish help. He does it on his own. And he brags above
this text that Jerusalem and its gods are no big deal.
Obviously, he sees no need of any Jewish help.
Will the Antichrist, through a conspiracy, take
over the United States and persecute all the real Christians
there?
The United States is not directly mentioned in Scripture
except perhaps in one place (if there is another, I
have not seen it). In the one possible text, it just
states,
Ezekiel 30:2 Son of man, prophesy and say, “Thus saith
the Lord Jehovah: Howl ye, Alas for the day! 3For
the day is at hand! Indeed, the day of Jehovah is
at hand!-a day of clouds! It shall be the time of
the nations. 4And the sword shall come upon Egypt.
And there shall be anguish in Ethiopia when the slain
shall fall in Egypt. And they shall take away her
multitude. And her foundations shall be overthrown.
5Cush and Phut and Lud and all the mingled people
and Chub and the children of the Land of the Covenant
shall fall with them by the sword. 6Thus saith Jehovah:
‘They also that uphold Egypt shall fall. And the pride
of her strength shall come down. From Migdol to Syene
shall they fall in her by the sword,’ saith the Lord
Jehovah. 7’And they shall be desolated in the midst
of the countries that are desolated. And her cities
shall be in the midst of the cities that are wasted.
8And they shall know that I am Jehovah when I have
set a fire in Egypt. And all her helpers shall be
broken.’”
I propose this to POSSIBLY be the United
States for several minor reasons. First, it does not
seem to be a text having to do with Israel in any way.
A text above it is a restoration text for Israel, and
this is a new topic. It seems to be strictly a gentile-directed
text. Secondly, the Hebrew wording for “Land of the
Covenant” is “Eretz HaBreet.” The Modern Hebrew term
for the United States is “Artzote HaBreet,” literally,
“Lands of the Covenant” or “Covenanted Lands” or “United
Lands” or “United States.” Since the founding of this
curious country (the United States), it has become viewed
as one land, not as separate lands or states. In any
case, it is one of the countries which is liable to
try to uphold Egypt, which in this text will lead to
a disaster. The point is this: there is no indication
that the United States will play any at-all-significant
role in the End Times (unless it is joining in with
the other countries to hassle or attack Israel). The
antichrist will be from Assyria, not from the United
States. And the texts which speak of his coming to power
all speak of Middle Eastern locations, not western locations.
Will the Messiah return to save the real Christians
of the United States?
Messiah will return to Israel as He promised. There
is no mention of any Christian involvement in the End
Times, let alone in Messiah’s return. Messiah will return
at the petition of Jerusalem (the literal place and
occupants) as it is written,
Matthew 23:37 Jerusalem, Jerusalem that killest the
prophets and stonest them which are sent unto thee,
how often would I have gathered thy children together
even as a hen gathereth her chickens under wings.
And ye would not! 38Behold your house is left unto
you desolate. 39For I say unto you, Ye shall not see
me henceforth till ye shall say “Blessed is He Who
cometh with the Name Yehovah!” [from Psalm 118]
Real Christians will have been removed
(Raptured) and judged by the time Messiah comes. He
will return with all His Saints. All must be judged.
There is no opportunity for the judgment of the Saints
except before the Millennium and before the Tribulation,
since the Saints will have functions to do during the
Millennium and will participate in judging the non-saints
at the end of the Millennium.
Will Israel be wiped out completely forever when
the conspiracy of the antichrist is destroyed by the
return of the Messiah?
Not unless Yehovah is a liar. First, there is not conspiracy
of the antichrist (as defined and explained above).
Secondly, the Covenant which Yehovah made with Avram
(Abraham), reconfirmed with Isaac, and reconfirmed with
Israel (Jacob) is an everlasting Covenant (unless Yehovah
is a liar). And this Covenant guarantees the restoration
of Israel as Paul well points out:
Romans 11:25 For I do not wish you to be ignorant,
brethren, of this mystery-that ye may not be wise
in your own conceits-that blindness in part is happened
to Israel until the fulness of the nations be come
in. 26And so all Israel shall be saved according as
it is written, The deliverer shall come out of Zion.
He shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob. 27And this
is the covenant from me to them when I shall have
taken away their sins.
Obviously, this does not sound like
a destruction. It sounds very much like a restoration.
In regard to these conspiracy hypothetics (more like
“hype pathetics”), these fools and ignoramuses show
their fears (not of God) and their antisemitisms, their
antichrist attitudes very clearly. While they cry out
“Antichrist! Antichrist,” they themselves are the antichrists
before the time. If they had just one ounce of sense,
they would read the Bible, and would understand it.
If one were to give them one ounce of sense, though,
they would still end up with a sense deficit. The reason
is simple: Spiritual things are Spiritually discerned.
The theories of these quackilogians are popular because
they feed the hunger of those who want someone else
to be responsible for their failures in life. They cannot
know or understand that they will be judged by the Saints
of the People (Israel) of Yehovah who will show them
no mercy in that day. And Yehovah will not allow for
appeals.
